Halloweekend part one is a wrap, and I think I need to rest all week before part two, the grand finale. Seriously, this weekend was stacked. Sick New World. ArtsGoggle. Halloween parties. Daytime fall festivities. What were y’all up to? I explored Oak Lawn, the Halloween Capital of Texas (Denton), and went to a local show! Can’t wait to see what the actual Halloweekend brings.

We aren't stopping at Halloween, though. A ton of artists are wrapping up their tours soon and making a stop in DFW – like, Steve Lacy! Catch the Oh Yeah? Tour at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory on November 5. Enter to win tickets.

When Your Pet Needs to Borrow 10 Grand

able legs get scratched up like they owe the cat money. Shoes are dragged under the couch like the mob disposing of a “package.” These are routine costs of pet ownership; a $10,000 surprise emergency surgery is not. Unfortunately, things DO happen, and you most assuredly DO want to be prepared for them. Pet insurance can help you offset some of these costs by providing up to 90% reimbursement, with plans starting at $10/month. Click below to find the right plan before your animal invents a new way to bankrupt you.*
